Volunteer

Providing tutoring, mentoring, child care, pro-bono professional services and skills training are just a few examples of how our volunteers help create real and lasting change in others. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities at Ascentria Care Alliance locations throughout New England. You can choose to volunteer with a group, as an individual, on an ongoing basis or just one-time.

Join or Form a Neighborhood Support Team

Neighborhood Support Teams (NSTs) work alongside Ascentria case managers to help refugee families and individuals access resources, recover and heal, and build self-sufficient lives here in the U.S. NSTs are formed when a community decides that they want to make the commitment to sponsor an individual or family by providing supports for up to one year.

Over 5,500 donated cars have been refurbished and awarded to New England families through Ascentria's Good News Garage Program. Our mission is to create economic opportunity by providing affordable and reliable transportation options to low-income individuals and families.

Become a Foster Parent

Ascentria offers a continuum of community-based programs for families, children and teens at risk that build and support strong and nurturing families. We believe that all children deserve a permanent, secure and loving home. To that end, we serve children and families through an array of supportive, therapeutic and educational services that help them through difficult life transitions, for the purpose of providing safety and nurture, opportunities for healthy personal and social development, and resources that will serve them for the rest of their lives.
